ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik has ordered the cancellation of all licenses of weapons illegally acquired and action against those involved in the illegal, Chnanels a private television reported.
While high-level meeting chaired by the ministry here on Saturday, the owner went to revoke the licenses of non-legal as well as to issue an order to arrest the officials from issuing permits illegally. In this regard, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted a report on the investigation at this meeting. Rehman Malik directed the administration to clear the pending applications for new licenses in light of the decision by the Supreme Court.
